we are reworking the Flatcast user management. The first two changes are:


1. Simple passwords like '1234' are no longer allowed. The following minimum requirements must be fulfilled for a valid, good password:

- minimum length of 8 characters, with ...

- at least one capital letter
- at least one small letter
- at least one other character (e.g. a number or a special character)

At the moment, only new registrations are affected. However, soon we will also enforce strong passwords for the existing accounts. If you are a sender, please tell your listeners about the changes.

2. Removal of old, unused nick names

Nick names that have not been used in the last 6 month will be deleted. The delete procedure will start in 4 weeks from now... this means on April, 23rd 2012.

After your login at Flatcast, you have to go to 'Modify User Record' and you can change the password.
Please regard the requirements Hannes wrote above:

•a minimum length of 8 characters
•at least one big capital letter (A B C)
•at least one small letter (a b c)
•at least one other character (like number or + - _ ! )

For example: iRemember_1453

just see my posting above in this thread:

"Please check your Spam Folder / Junk Mails, too.
Furthermore you should check the mentioned email in the data.
Click on 'Modify User Record' and mark √ 'Send Activation Key', if your email address ic correct, it will work. Just tried and everything's ok.."
